PLEASE DON'T SAY "FATHERS" - This is a silly one but I hear it so often that it is worth highlighting it. I think Spanish people say it because they are not concentrating.
It is clearly SPANGLISH because people think of "mis padres" and then just do the direct translation and say "my fathers"!!!!!!! Most of the time people know they have made a mistake immediately but still PLEASE avoid "fathers".
