WHAT DO YOU SAY WHEN YOUR COMPUTER STOPS WORKING? (EXCLUDING SWEAR WORDS) I have noticed that when Spanish people try to describe the fact that their computer is not working and that they are having problems they never really use the correct phrase. The most obvious solution, and probably the most sensible (sensato) is to say: "My computer is not working" which is fine. Everybody will understand you and you will get the message across to them which is always the most important element with foreign languages. But, in case you are interested in using a different type of phrase, one option which you could use is: "My computer has crashed! (present perfect)". This a good way to describe the fact that just this very minute your computer has suddenly stopped working and you can't do any work (always a good excuse as well) until you have called the IT help desk and they tell you to turn it off and then on again. Hope that helps!
