COPYING IS THE MOST UNDERRATED (SUBESTIMADO) WAY OF LEARNING A LANGUAGE
The moment that we start school we are always told that copying is bad, it is something we should avoid, the teachers tell us. Unfortunately, this steers us away from one of richest sources of information and knowledge that we can find.
This is especially the case in terms of language learning. You only need to analyse how well young children absorb and become fluent in a language to become aware (ser consciente) of how powerful copying really can be.
So, I would encourage you, above everything else, to copy phrases and vocabulary you hear in English because copying really does have value.
Hope that helps!
