DO YOU HAVE A GOOD "RELATION" WITH YOUR COLLEAGUES?
I am sure you are all tempted to use this construction! In Spanish, the word "relación" is used commonly, but you cannot bring it over to English quite as directly as you would like. The problem here is that you need to use the word "relationship" in English. For example: "I have a great relationship with my boss".
When you use the word "relation" in English, you use it in a context where you are talking about something that has a connection to something else: "In relation with what you were talking about earlier, I would just like to say that...".
As you can see, it is quite different. So watch out for that trap!
