"ED" NO ES TU AMIGO...LO SABES? I think I may have touched on this previously but it is worth repeating because a day does not go by without one of my students making this mistake. Of course, we are talking about the ending of the regular verbs in English and Spanish speakers always read these regular past verbs as they would a Spanish word which means that they pronounce the "ed" every time they see it. You need to be aware that this is not right. I know this is difficult to remember especially because you have heard your English teacher at school pronounce this wrongly for years! Anyway, remember, when you see "ed" there are three sounds: "t", "d" and "ed". Hope that helps!
