EVEN AND ODD After the new policy in Madrid with regard to car access was implemented yesterday, many students tried to talk about "par" and "impar" but did not know how to say these words in English. So just to make it clear "par" = "even" and "impar" = "odd". Not many Spanish people know this vocab or least most of my students don't. So for example: Yesterday, car with number plates with an even number were not allowed to drive in the city centre. Hope that helps!
