I AM GOING TO SEE A "SPECTACLE" TONIGHT AT THE THEATRE In their enthusiasm to tell you about their exciting plans many Spanish speakers fall into the trap of using the word "spectacle" which, although does exist in English, is rarely used in this context. Native speakers are much more likely to use words such as "show" or "performance". So, for example: "The performance was wonderful, it was very entertaining" or "The show tonight will be amazing". Hope that helps!
