DELETE YOUR SPANGLISH: HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU SAID THIS: "I HAVE 35 YEARS"
This is a very easy test for your English but the number of people who still make this mistake surprises me. When someone asks you for your age in English you need to use the verb "to be" not the verb "to have".
Spanish people like to use the verb "to have" because that is what is used in Spanish: "Tengo 35 años". In English, it is impossible "to have" years, because everything you "have" is owned by you. So you can say: "I have a car", "I have a house" but you CANNOT "HAVE" YEARS!!
Hope that helps!
