I LOVE WRITING "INFORMS" You are going to tell me that this does not happen and that I am making it up (inventando...oh yes, I know you like those phrasal verbs!). I am sorry to tell you that I have heard this many times. Again, I don't really think that it is a conscious mistake. I think that the word "informes" is programmed into your minds and the moment that you need to pull out the translation for "informes" your brain scans around and says: "not really sure about the translation, so I will use "informs"! I completely understand...believe me. I would even recommend this type of "Russian roulette language guessing" because it makes speaking a foreign language more fun and a bit like a game! The only thing to remember here is that when you crash and burn, always learn from your mistakes and always use the word "reports" rather than "informs". Hope that helps!
