I PUT MY CAR IN THE "PARKING"
Although you might think that the word "parking" MUST be an English word, the way in which Spanish people use it is often incorrect.
The correct version of the sentence above is: "I put my car in the car park" (British version) or "I put my car in the parking garage" (American version). So as you can see neither of these versions is like the original Spanglish version.
The only time we really use the word "parking" is when we use it in the present continuous form: "What are you doing? I am PARKING my car".
Hope that helps.
