INGLÉS PARA NEGOCIAR: "THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT" This week I will be focusing on a number of different idioms (frases hechas) that can help you when you are in a negotiation. The important thing to remember here is, that although it can be very nice for you to learn these by heart (memorizar) it is not absolutely necessary. It is more important to be able to understand them rather than reproduce them. The idiom today is a reference to tennis and means that you or your opposite number need to make a decision. For example: "We have given you our best price, so now the ball is in your court". Hope that helps!
