¿"MALGASTAR" EN INGLÉS? When Spanish speakers think about the word "malgastar" in English most of the time they go for the word "spend". The word "spend" is fine in other contexts such as when you are "spending money" or "spending time" but it is not the correct option when you are trying to describe the idea of "malgastar". A much better option is the word "waste". For example: "Don't waste your money on sweets, you should buy something more healthy" or "I wasted a lot of time today by going to the town centre". Hope that helps!
