¿QUÉ METODO DEBERIA USAR PARA LEER UN LIBRO EN INGLÉS? I get asked this question on a very regular basis and the answer is quite simple. In general, I think there are two secrets for Spanish speakers who want to read in English successfully. The first is that you need to choose a book that interests you. That is key. There is no point (no vale la pena) reading a book about the Second World War (tough for Spanish speakers to pronounce that) if you have no interest whatsoever in history! The second point is that you will quickly get frustrated if you look up (buscar en el diccionario) every single word that you don't know. So...don't do that! Once you adopt these strategies you should begin to feel more comfortable about reading in English and most importantly start to enjoy it more. Remember...reading is key to the development of your English vocabulary!
