¿QUÉ SIGNIFICA: "HECTIC"? I use this word quite a lot, and when I use it in class, many Spanish speakers are not sure about the meaning. The general definition of "hectic" is that something has been very busy or frenetic. It is used when you need to fit in a lot of activities into a short period of time. For example: "I have had a hectic day full of meetings" or "We had a hectic holiday because we needed to see so many people". Hope that helps!
