This is an interesting issue because it often causes confusion for Spanish people. Many Spanish people like to use the word “willing” but they use it in the wrong context. For example they say: “I am willing for next week to arrive”. So, in other words, Spanish people use it to say they “are looking forward to something”. The problem with this, is that “willing” means something different. The word “willing” is used to say that you agree or accept to do something or in Spanish: “estar dispuesto”. Hope that helps!

Entonces yo soy de las que lo usa mal. Porque uso “willing” para decir: “Estoy deseando...”. Thank you!!!
