¿"TACHAR" EN INGLÉS?
For some reason, I was speaking with a student the other day about the verb "tachar" and although the student knew that is was something to do with the word "cross" they were not completely sure.
The problem here is that if you just use the word "cross", then there is a high probability that you will be misunderstood because the word "cross" by itself can either mean "enfadado" or "cruz".
So, if you want to talk about "tachar" you need to use it in combination with the preposition "out". For example: "Do I need to cross out this paragraph?"
Hope that helps!
