DID YOU KNOW THAT "THE 50%" is WRONG? Many Spanish people like to say percentages with an article in front. For example: "The 20% of people have never been to a dentist". This is a direct translation from Spanish because in Spanish you say: "El 20%". When you speak and write in English you need to make sure that you remove the article and start directly with the %. For example: "50% of British people can not speak a foreign language". Hope that helps!
