I was recently watching a TED video (very good for your English if you have the time) and one of the presenters was doing a presentation about some research that she had conducted. Her conclusion was that success is more closely related to “grit” rather than IQ (intelligence). This is interesting but then I was thinking that maybe “grit” is a bit of a difficult word to understand for foreigners! So, to explain it clearly: “grit” = determination and stamina to see something through to the end. So, do you agree, is this the secret to success? Are you are "gritty" person? Hope that helps!
