"BINGE DRINKING" ¿QUÉ ES?

This word gives me the opportunity to introduce you to the "great" British tradition of drinking alcohol in large quantities in a short period of time! Those of you who have travelled to the UK and gone out at night will have experienced this, I am sure.

The word "binge" is mostly used in connection with drinking but can also be used with regard to TV series. With services like Netflix it is now possible to "binge" on a TV series. In other words, this means that you watch a whole series in a very short period of time.

Interestingly, I have never really noticed any "binge" drinking here in Spain which definitely is a good thing!
