¿CÓMO SE DICE "10 PAVOS" EN INGLÉS?
Over the years that I have lived in Spain my vocabulary has become more extensive and it is always interesting to pick up (phrasal verb) new words and expressions. It is clearly one of the big advantages of living in a country where the language you are trying to learn surrounds you.
The word "pavos" is a good example of this. I can't really remember the day that I learnt the meaning of "pavos" but once I had heard it, I did not forget it.
So, how do you say "pavos" in English? Well, there are two options. The British version is "quid" and in the US they use "bucks". So, for example: "He gave me 10 quid" or "Can you give me 10 bucks?"
Hope that helps!
