SPANGLISH ALERT: DO YOU KNOW HOW TO SAY "COMPROMISO" IN ENGLISH?
This is a very common false friend that many Spanish people use quite often. Most people translate "compromiso" into "compromise" but "compromise" has a different meaning in English which is: "consenso".
The correct translation of "compromiso" is "commitment". So be very careful when you are doing your sales pitch and you want to say: "Lo puedes probar sin compromiso" because you need to translate the word "compromiso" correctly!
Hope that helps!
