This is the type of phrase that all of us need to use when we are writing to someone new. We need to make it clear why we are writing to them.
Ok, I am going to quickly set out a variety of options you shouldn't use to translate this: ❌ I contact you... ❌ I am in touch with you... ❌ I am in contact with you for... So, what should you use? Well, these are a lot better: ✔️ I am writing to you because... ✔️ I am contacting you because... As you can see, you need to use the present continuous form! When you use this tense (tiempo verbal) the verb "to be" and the +ing form needs to be included. That is the reason why the first three options that I outlined at the top are incorrect! Hope that helps! Daniel Smith - Tu coach inglés NUEVO LIBRO: 365 Consejos para mejorar tu inglés - Elimina tu spanglish y habla como un nativo - Ya a la venta en Amazon (Papel + Kindle)
