AN IMPORTANT PHRASE: When Spanish people buy products they are always looking for something special and that special thing is: "relación calidad precio". This is a great phrase in Spanish because in many ways it defines the Spanish shopper. Most Spanish people want something that is good quality but they want to make sure that they don't pay to much for it (which is sensible (sensato) of course). The best translation for this is: "value for money". So, for example: "That shop is really good because their products are good value for money". Hope that helps!

Just thought you'd like to know about this typo; "but they want to make sure that they don't pay to much for it".

Is it don't pay to much or don't pay too much?, thank you.

Rolando, the correct expression is '...don't pay TOO much'. 'Too' is an intensifier and in this case the sentence is trying to say that Spanish shoppers want to buy something which is a good product without paying an excessive amount of money.
